Dan Alicea and his wife Stephanie are bringing a slice of Miami to Wildwood Crest – Madison Resort, named after their daughter Madison.
The media party was epic – live music from the Cheers band, a surprise appearance by Mummers, delicious food, and cocktail crushers.
Walk into the resort lobby and you step into the 1950s and 1960s – the architecture was designed Doo Wop style. Modern, sweeping angles. There are pops of pink and blue everywhere, including the guest rooms.
The outside area is a vibe—there are fire pits, cabanas, hammocks, lounge chairs. Most importantly, a heated pool and hot tub.
My room was on the fourth floor with a gorgeous view of the ocean behind the property. There is an outside lounge with music on this floor.
The color popped when I walked into the room – and the details. The room had a vintage refrigerator, microwave, and alarm clock.
The room was immaculate! My bed was soft, the white robe plush – I felt like I was on a retreat.
The area is super family friendly. You can rent bikes across the street; there is a playground minutes away and it’s a short walk to the Wildwood boardwalk.
By July 4th, their three restaurants are expected to be open.
